Goodbye Mr. Walsh

As most of you know, Mr. Walsh is in the process of opening a full-time Taekwondo School in Pittsford, New York.  If you have never undertaken this task before, it is hard to imagine all the work that goes into it.  Finding a location is an incredible task in itself.  Unlike, say a dance studio, most landlords are not willing to lease to a martial art school.  When I opened my school, it took over 8 months of active looking before I found someone who would rent to me.  My school didn’t open were I wanted it to be, it opened in the only place I could find that would let it open.  Yet I digress.  Because of all the work that still needs to be done before his school’s opening, Mr. Walsh has taken a leave of absence from Hagsaeng Naebu.  He will be deeply missed and hopefully will return one day.

Mr. Walsh will still be an active member of Shin Ho Kwan and will continue to attend regular black belt classes.
