We thought our readers might like to see what a typical Hagsaeng Naebu Weekend looks like.  Check out this schedule we just received for our upcoming meeting on January 22nd…


4pm: Arrival

4:30pm-5:30pm: Initiation Ceremony

5:30-6:00pm: Work Period

6:00-7:00pm: Dinner and clean-up

7:00-8:00pm: Physical Class

8:00-9:00pm: Mental Class

9:00-10:00pm: Physical Class

10:00-11:00pm: Mental Class

11:00pm: Martial Arts Documentary (AKA “Sleep”) — just kidding Sir!


12:00-6:00am: Sleep (for real)

6:00-6:30am: Dojang Prep

6:30-7:00am: Breakfast

7:00-8:00am: Mental Class

8:00-9:00am: Physical Class

9:00-10:00am: Work Period

10:00-11:00am: Physical Class

11:00am: Freedom (errr…Dismissal!)

And this is just weekend #1!!  Remember, we’re with Master Pearson in Rochester one weekend a month and then the next month we accompany him down to our sister school in Cincinnati, OH to help teach weapons seminars.  That includes a whole 8 hour car ride where we get to work on different physical and mental techniques!  Pretty Packed!!  We’ll let you know how we keep up!
